"The staff is so nice. The room was a nice size. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, but not bad. My husband said he saw a hair on the sheets, but it was probably the maid's. Air conditioning unit made a strange whirring sound every few minutes, but not a huge deal. "

Unfortunately I left an item of clothing behind and the hotel wasn't very helpful as they would not post it to me, even though I offered to pay the costs. "I booked and prepaid for a 10-day stay at Hotel Europa, but I left after just one night and forfeited the rest of my reservation because the conditions were unacceptable. The room was not just outdated—it was dirty and poorly maintained to a level that felt unsanitary. The mattress was visibly stained, the furniture was covered in dust and residue, and multiple surfaces looked like they had not been properly cleaned in a long time. The bathroom had rust, grime, and buildup in several areas, and there was a persistent moldy smell throughout the room. Even the basic structure of the room felt neglected, including damaged fixtures and a door that did not feel secure. The overall condition made it impossible to feel comfortable or safe staying there. Because of this, I had to find another hotel immediately, which caused unnecessary stress and additional expense during my trip. I have included photos to document the condition of the room at the time of my stay. I strongly advise other travelers to avoid booking here, especially for longer stays. The listing does not accurately reflect the reality of the accommodations."
