"Ivan’s house was just as described. You open the front gate and you’re on the beach. You don’t need a car if you want to hang around town or go to the beach. Stores and restaurants are a very short walking distance. Zuma tours is on the same property so tours are a no brainer if you want to book a trip to Tortuga island or something else fun. There is a hostel next door but we were pleasantly surprised by how little noise there was. The air conditioned bedrooms were much appreciated because it was very hot. We enjoyed drinking wine on the porch hammocks with the roar of the ocean and a stunning view."

"Right in the heart of town with the beach only steps away. Small town so could walk anywhere from this location. Staff was friendly. Nice indoor and outdoor eating facility. Food was excellent. Park right across the street and often monkeys were present. Highly recommend."

"This hotel was incredible for many reasons. First off, the view of the islands in the bay is breathtakingly gorgeous. You can hang onto the edge of the beautiful pool and gaze at the beach, water and islands below. There's an outdoor lounge and a restaurant with really good food. The service is top notch. The rooms are clean and spacious. From the balcony, we could hear howler monkeys down below, as well as dozens of exotic bird species. I can confidently say that this was the best hotel experience I have had in my life for the reasonable price. "
