"The place is very unique. You feel as if you are staying in the middle of the forest. Older building with older plumbing. We rented 2 rooms. First room a/c was great. 2nd room, the a/c was not responding to the thermostat. It was too cold. They said they would fix-they did not. Offered a couple of blankets. loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying nature. We enjoyed breakfast every morning. Limited to typical buffet items-scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. They had a waffle maker. I would recommend updating the rooms and making sure elevator was operational. Great visit and hiking trails originated from hotel parking lot."

"The photos do not do this property justice! Place was spotless! It is a beautifully renovated space. Well appointed, beds were comfortable. Plenty of blankets and fluffy towels. We appreciated the laundry. The property itself is very peaceful. Our favorite activity was feeding the very gentle donkeys. Communication was excellent and check in was a breeze. Would stay again and highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed. Location is very convenient to the Kentucky Horse Farm, Claiborne Farm and downtown Lexington."
