"It was in a remote location in a wonderful little village. We had a difficult time finding it, but that was more a problem with my GPS and USA sense of direction rather than the coordinates provided. The host was very easy to communicate with. Thanks for a pleasant Tuscan stay."

"We had a great time here. It’s an amazing area in the hills, about 15 minutes out of Arezzo – really peaceful and perfect if you want to get away from urban Arezzo while still having easy access.Best things: rustic, full of historical character, reasonably priced, and a good-sized swimming pool. Although there are probably enough beds for around 60 people, the accommodation is spread out over a large area. It was always peaceful and never busy in the slightest.We didn’t meet Carlos; I think he was away on holiday himself. There was plenty of communication via WhatsApp, which was all we needed. We met lots of his family, who seemed to make up most of the people staying in the mini village.We would definitely come back. There are just a couple of things I would change:Even though it is in the hills, it was very hard to sleep on the first few nights due to the temperatures. They could definitely use fans in the rooms. (We are from New Zealand, however, so maybe we are not so accustomed to the heat.)The 7 pm pool closure is a bit early, especially in summer. We spent our days exploring and often missed our chance to swim by the time we returned in the evenings. I completely understand that you don’t want people swimming all night, but even an 8 pm pool closure would have made it a little nicer, especially on hot summer evenings.As I said, we had a fantastic time and would definitely come back if we ever travel this way again."

"A lovely fortnight spent here in the first two weeks of June. The property is charming, the pool sublime and the views of the valley are truly wonderful. We were fortunate to visit during the 2/3 weeks that the Tuscan fireflies emerge and they are a sight to behold, quite spectacular. The property is perfectly suited for visiting Florence, Assisi and Azzero. The owners were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome throughout, and Maya the dog was very friendly and enjoyed the company of our 1 year old. Highly recommend."
