"We rented for a celebration after Purdue graduation. The 8 of us (parents and young adults) used all the indoor and outdoor space. It was delightful, and I have never experienced a VRBO that was this well appointed. The beds and extra pillow really spoiled us. It had everything we needed and more. Monticello lost power on our first night, and the owner brought more candles and alerted us to the mini-lanterns ... it was like camping! SO FUN! We really appreciated the extra attention, the second fridge, and extra cooler. Our group enjoyed the tiered decks, really comfy furniture and waving to the boat neighbors. We are in good shape for all the steps!Thank you, Kelly and Ryan!"

"What a wonderful time we had celebrating our daughter’s graduation from Purdue, the location was perfect and it was an opportunity to tour the area while we’re there. Wonderful river house very flexible for our needs. "

"House is remodeled and very clean. Can’t beat the view of the lake, the backyard and patio with fire pit. Great access to the lake and Indiana Beach nearby. The house is fully stocked with paper products, soap, detergent etc. Power went out after a bad storm and the host came with a generator to help. Power came back on. We would definitely stay here again sometime! "

"We checked in the night before our so. Graduated from Purdue. We chose Monticello because it was about 1/2 the price as the Lafayette hotels for graduation. It was a 35 minute drive to the school through rural country roads. A peaceful commute. Upon checking in Gina who was working the front desk realized I had booked the wrong room for our family and she worked her magic and got us into a more appropriate room. The gym was open which my kids said was more than adequate for a hotel, The basketball and volleyball courts were under construction as was the swimming pool so that was a little disappointing, but I don't think we would've had time for them anyways. Gina recommended Sportman's Inn to have a nice waterfront dinner and although the food and service was okay the setting and atmosphere on the patio overlooking the lake made up for it. The staff we met were friendly and helpful! We don't usually stay at Best Westerns as we are a pretty bougie family but I'd definitely stay here again. The hotel smelled fresh and clean and the room reflected that. Beds were better than so many we've stayed in. Towels probably need replacing but they were clean and smelled fresh not stale which is the case in so many rural hotels. Overall we were more than pleased and surprised! We left happy travelers. I cannot comment on the breakfast as we didn't eat it. "

"This property was simply amazing… great location, easy to find, and very accurate to the pics if not better! We went with a family of 10 and had everything we could possibly need! Grill, tons of beds and linens, plenty of bathrooms and kitchen supplies! We fished. Had a fire. And just hung out! Used the projector to watch the Kentucky Derby! Was very pleased with our stay and would love to come back when it’s warmer! "
