Rosella still works every day, making sure the hotel and adjacent restaurant are run with care, warmth, and an incredible sense of tradition. She embodies the spirit of hospitality and heritage. Rooms are cozy and full of character, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the location is perfect for exploring the lake, the Grotte di Catullo, and the charming old town. Breakfast was fresh and served with genuine warmth—just like everything else here. If you’re looking for a hotel with heart, history, and a host you’ll never forget, Filminia is the place. "Excellent quality and value We have stayed here twice now the breakfast is fantastic, indoor pool and spa are lovely. Just wish the outside pool and sun loungers overlooking Lake Garda were open, the explanation I got was it was to early in the Season and they will open in May. For the British like myself the weather was ideal and at around 21/22 degrees the Outdoor spaces should have been open. Thanks a lovely stay otherwise 👍"

"It is such a fun, family-friendly place. The staff is always wonderful and helpful!! Walking to town is so easy and beautiful. The walk to town is lake and marina - side. So fun and laid back. Simple and sweet."
