"The Podere is a really attractive and comfortable farmhouse on an Italian estate. There is lots of space inside and out. It is in a part of Tuscany slightly off the usual tourist patch, in wooded hills with fascinating volcanic rocks. Corso was helpful and full of good suggestions for our expeditions. "We spent a very enjoyable week in picturesque Chiusdino. Loved the little town with shops and restaurants (our tip: il minestraio!) within walking distance and great views of the countryside. "You have all the amenities of a large, historic villa - and also the real farmland all around you. Sheep, horses, dogs - beautiful, and not in your personal space (unless you want them to be!).
