Palazzo Ravizza

"Lovely hotel inside the city walls, if you are driving there and want to take advantage of the hotel car park (availability not guaranteed) you have to follow quite specific instructions to get there so as not to get a fine, they are quite easy to follow though. Dogs accepted and they provided dog beds and water for the dogs which was nice, the dogs are also allowed throughout the hotel. The views from the bedroom were amazing, as is the same from the lovely garden & terrace. Breakfast was great, lovely bread and the best marmalade ever, as well as cake, eggs, etc. bar is just open from 5pm but you can get a drink earlier if it takes your fancy"

"Great Family run hotel with friendly staff. Perfectly located to explore Tuscany.. we visited Sienna, Certaldo, Volterra, Sam Gimignano and Livorno on the coast. There is a walkable (5mins) winery called Il Colombaio which I would highly recommended. The breakfast buffet was fabulous."

"Great breakfast, stunning views of the Tuscan countryside and felt like walking into the past. Exactly as per the photos, a wonderful ambience, full of charm and character. Well located on the edge of the old town, less than 10 minutes walk to the centre. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and hope to come back myself."

Hotel Certosa Di Maggiano

"Our stay for our honeymoon was amazing. We loved our room and we were upgraded to a suite because they had it available. All the staff were kind and helpful. They carried our luggage up two flights of stairs to our room, helped make reservations, called taxis for us, etc. The property was beautiful, maintained nicely, and was very quiet. Really have no complaints. To note it is outside of city Centre of Siena so you will need taxis back and forth to the city for meals etc. which can get quite pricey so just plan ahead. Our room could’ve been cleaned a little better in between each day but overall it was still very clean. We would definitely stay there again!!"

"This is an incredible Villa! The views of Tuscany from this house are amazing. Lia & Marco are great hosts. It is important to note that there are several flights of stairs from the parking area up to the villa. So anyone having mobility issues would be problematic. You should also be aware of the number of stairs to negotiate bringing luggage into the Villa! However the pool was great & Boccheggiano is a quaint village located on a hilltop with a great pizza restaurant."
