"Don’t expect to be able to get any food if you haven’t pre booked it. We travelled from the uk and after a long journey wanted some food and a glass of fizz. Only to be told that wasn’t possible. But a local bar shut in one hour so we needed to be quick. For a place that cost over 330 pounds a night I’d expect a little bit more service. The grounds and the place are beautiful but being able to get basic food and drink has always been staple in France so was very disappointing we couldn’t get...

"Lovely and very friendly hotel in small town, off the beaten track but not far from motorway connections. Lovely spacious room, helpful and attentive staff, great restaurant. "

"Stop over on way back to ferry. Hotel basic but clean. Only problem was only allowed one pillow per guest which we were told at reception. Breakfast good choice. Hotel name was not visible until you were actually in the car park so bit confusing as road leading to it was a non entry road"

"We had such a lovely stay at Rouge Maison and will try and return one day. So peaceful and quiet. Anne Claire and husband were extremely attentive and helpful. They served us a delicious dinner and breakfast Our room was very comfortable and presented beautifully with lovely linen and a great shower. Would highly recommend "
