4 ½ apartment is impeccably clean, comfortable and fully equipped (hair dryer, bedding, towels, dishes, etc.). It is located in a duplex from fin-de-siècle with a lot of modern upgrades. It is a mix of old and new with a lot of charrm and character. Tourists will find all the appliances and cookware one could need. 3 closed bedrooms (2 queen-sized bed, 1 double bed). One bathroom. TV with NETFLI in the living room and in the third room which is on the ground floor. Washer and dryer with iron. Private entrance. Smokers have access to 2 balconies to enjoy (access from the kitchen, the other from the master bedroom). The free parking in the street is easy and not crowded. Tourists are often able to park right in front of the building. The apartment is on the 2nd story of a 2 story building, so there is a small staircase to climb. Regarding the third bedroom on the ground floor, people allergic to animals will not be able to stay because my two (2) dear cats live exclusively on the ground floor. No pets allowed. No hidden fees : cleaning and taxes included in the rental price. Deposit : $ 300 CAD. All the tourists who have stayed at Le Bercy so far have given me 5 stars.

Family getaway

We had a fantastic time in Montreal and the pinnacle of the stay was the lodgings. The apartment was fantastic! It had everything we needed. It was comfortable and relaxing to spend time there. Once we parked our car, we did not need it again. An easy walk to the grocery store, many restaurants & cafes and the metro. Maria was very easy to communicate with. We look forward to staying again.

Family vacation in Montreal

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at Gite Le Bercy. The property is charming, comfortable and very clean. It is in a very convenient location, a short walk to the Metro and grocery. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone vacationing in Montreal.

Phenomenal stay at a perfectly located beautiful home in Montreal!

We were so thrilled with our stay! Everything was beautiful at the apartment and it was perfectly located. I cannot say enough about how great the apartment was. Marie-Anne was the most wonderful host! So warm and friendly with an absolute dedication to making her guests feel welcome and comfortable. We will definitely be back. In fact we hated to leave.

A wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at the property. 2 adults and 3 growing kids fit fine in the residence. Marie-Anne provided a very warm welcome, was very attentive when we had questions, and gave us a lot of options for things to do during our stay in Montreal. We were able to park very close to the residence at all times. The area is very peaceful and family friendly, and close to a Metro station. I would definitely recommend this residence to anyone that would like to visit Montreal.

Montreal weekend getaway

Great location, 5 minute walk to metro and grocery store. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for your stay, she even had some water bottles in the fridge and a selection of a coffee pods which was great. We were able to park out front with no issues. We had the pleasure of meeting Marie-Anne when checking out and she is very friendly and hospitable host. We Would definitely recommend this place to anyone planning on visiting Montreal

Fabulous Apartment

Marie-Anne is a warm, attentive, and welcoming host for her artsy apartment. This place had everything we needed and more. No matter how you like to make you coffee or cook your meals, Anne Marie has everything that's required. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed spending time on the balconies. It is just a short walk to the Metro. I feel so fortunate that my family was able to stay here for our Montreal vacation.

A very kind and generous host

We had originally booked for 3 nights, but the extreme weather caused our travel to be delayed by 2 days - Marie-Anne very kindly offered for us to stay an extra night for free, which we really appreciated! Her accommodation is very warm and clean and has absolutely everything you could need - it was so handy to have a washing machine and dryer, as well as a full kitchen that was very well-eqipped. Being just a short walk from the train means everything is easily accessible. We highly recommend this lovely little house!

This charming property (Gîte Le Bercy) was perfect for our family of 5 for a 5-day stay in mid-September. It is fully equipped with the comforts of home in mind. The back balcony provides a tranquil scene of the backyard. The front balcony provides views of the street. We used the grill in the back balcony for steak. The umbrellas, washing and drying machines came in handy on two of the days when there was a downpour. The host, Marie-Anne was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond whenever we had questions. We would definitely stay here again.

The ideal place to stay in Montreal

A quiet, well-located apartment in a residential neighborhood and only a five-minute walk to the nearest Metro station (Frontenac), a large grocery store and a wonderful Polish bakery. The apartment is spacious and fully equipped. The kitchen has every appliance, dish, and pot and pan you could wish for. The bedrooms are large and the beds, very comfortable. The bed and bath linens are top rate. The owner is delightfully hospitable and a joy to talk to... in French or English, and was very patient as we attempted to speak our very best high school-level French. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Quite Spot in the City

Overall the 2 bedroom accommodations were great. There is a third room available downstairs, but with 2 younger children we chose to keep everyone on the same floor. Metro is close, the parking easy, wifi decent and both grocery story and restaurants near by. We traveled into the city multiple days and were only about 10 minutes from the Olympic Center and Botanical Gardens. La Ronde was close, the Basilica and Science Museum easy to access as well. The bathroom was great, nicely updated and good water pressure. The farmers markets in the area were awesome for fresh local foods as well. Again, within easy reach of this reservation. We would rent again.

Excellent hostess!

Marie-Anne is a wonderful hostess! Truly one of the more friendly and helpful hosts I’ve been around. The unit is kept quite nice! My parents, aged 70+, were with us and also enjoyed the trip. The one thing that posed a bit of a challenge were the steps up to the unit for my parents. Yet, we knew that going into the stay, as it was well documented in the VRBO post. The location is very close to a grocery store, which we shopped at many times! Also, very close to the metro, which was our primary transportation and worked great! Yet, a big THANK YOU, to Marie-Anne. Thank you for being such a gracious hostess!

Charming place

This unit was completely stocked up with everything you need. Tim’s is just one block away. The metro is about a 5 minute walk. All the nights we were able to park on the street in front of the unit. Neighbours were quiet. It was 4 of us in the unit. My wife and I slept in the master bedroom, my son (19) in the middle bedroom and my daughter (15) in the sofa bed in the living room. We were all very comfortable. Only downfall is that it has only 1 bathroom. If you’re unsure about this place, just book it before someone else does.

A wonderful place to stay and an absolutely wonderful host.

Our family travelled to Montreal to explore the city and attend the Jazz Festival. We were looking for a place to stay and really prefer to stay at a VRBO as opposed to a hotel. More flexibility, more space. This time we decided to stay at this wonderful place. From the minute we booked it , we were contacted by the host and told that whatever we need, just let her know. She was just such a delight to meet and get to know. She was amazing helpful too. My son wanted to find a gym to keep up his workout routine, so the host went and purchased a 5 day pass for him to use at the local community centre which was a block or two away, it was her gift as she said. Then my daughter wanted to go thrift shopping so our host left us a couple coupons for some stores in the montreal area. When we finally met her she was just wonderful. So cheery, friendly, and as mentioned, very helpful.

The place itself was great to stay at. We stayed in the upstairs area which had a separate entrance, two bedrooms plus a small family room with a pull out couch, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room.. We also were able to use one of the bedrooms downstairs just at the entrance to the host’s lower residence. It was very private because it was just inside the door and had its own tv and fan and such. Lots of space. The place had everything.. washer and dryer, nice bath and shower, a little balcony out the front and another one out the back to have your morning coffee on etc. All the facilities

My best VRBO stay

Our stay at this property was wonderful in every way. The description provided by the host is thoroughly accurate. There is a well appointed kitchen, featuring several means of endulging in your morning coffee requirements, a beautifully designed bathroom with a deep tub, rainfall shower and a skylight to let in the natural light. Hot water is plentiful, we never ran out of it. There is a full sized washer and dryer. You can dine on one of 2 private balconies, the neighborhood is safe and walkable, and groceries are close by. Food delivery services, we used "DD," arrive within 30 minutes from a wide selection of interesting and excellent restaurants. We stayed here for more than 2 weeks in a hot and humid August. Air conditioning made us comfortable and happy. Although we are several years past having young children, there are many provisons for a child's wellbeing (high chair, stroller, sippy cups, other dining ware, etc.), so parents of small kids need not pack excessively. Downtown is about 15 minutes' drive away, accessible by the major arterial Sherbrooke Ave., about 5 blocks to the north. Also easily accessible is Longueuil, and the 1976 Olympics stadium and grounds are about 10 minutes to the east. Ms. Jean is a complete and delightful host. She was readily available by phone or email and quickly responded to the few questions I had. Further, because we were quarantining here after crossing the US-Canadian border to bring my daughter to school, Ms. Jean assured that the refrigerator and cupboards were stocked to our requirements before our arrival. In sum, I will seek a reservation here when we visit Montreal over the next few years. We were thoroughly comfortable and well looked after at 2200 Rue Bercy, and I have no hesitation in recommending this property whole heartedly.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay!

We've stayed in several different Vrbo rentals, and this was BY FAR the cleanest, most impressively organized, and charming place we've been! The neighborhood is great - very authentic and vibrant, and quite French. We were able to walk to great restaurants and bakeries and parks. Montreal is a great city to visit! Definitely go to the Botanical Gardens and the Old City.

Lovely place that is accurately described in the listing. My family of 4 enjoyed staying here, the neighborhood is great. Parking was a mild challenge but the host helped us understand the rules and was easy to contact. We would definitely stay here again. Any more than 5 would be a real challenge in the upstairs area.

Best home away from home experience

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was fantastic. It was so close to the Metro, grocery store, and a fantastic bakery that was across the street from the Metro. The apartment was beautiful with the most amazing interior decorating. Everything there was high quality and well planned and thoughtful. The bathroom was stunning. I appreciated having a large amt of towels and a really nice washer and dryer. Everything was very clean. The host Marie-Anne was helpful and kind and always available. I will stay here on our next trip to Montreal and highly recommend this apartment.

Great place

Location was great. House was wonderful. The only difficulty is one of the bedrooms is downstairs. My parents who are in their '70s definitely had difficulty with the stairs, and the downstairs bathroom is shared with the host. We did not want to intrude in her personal space

The PERFECT Place in Montreal

My friends and I came here for Montréal Pride and found this place to be quite perfect! The rooms were comfortable and clean, the outside spaces were relaxing, and the host is very friendly and easy to communicate with. It’s also very close to the metro so we were anywhere in the city within 10/15 mins. The neighborhood is beautiful and safe. And a big grocery store is a block away! I highly recommend you stay here- we will definitely be returning!

So good in so many ways...

While the property met our needs, there were a few challenges. To be more specific, there was only one bathroom that was in the upstairs portion of the property. This made staying in the lower portion a bit challenging during the night if the use of the bathroom was needed. (Utilizing the 3rd bedroom.) Additionally, parking was a little challenging due to the nature of parking in the city. For while we were informed that we could park in the neighbors parking area, there was an additional charge associated with this if elected. Other than these two points of challenge, the property was well located, quite comfortable, and very welcoming.

Grand visit to Montreal

Clean, comfortable apartment for 3 brothers. Nearby Metro station, bank to exchange US Dollars to CA Dollars, and a variety of restaurants. Host was very pleasant and accommodating.
