The 'host' (Pharrells) reached out to me on the Monday evening prior to our Thursday arrival. He asked that I cancel my booking and pay him upon arrival.
Refusing to do so I then began reaching out to VRBO representatives, time and again, to have action taken on our (my friends' and my) behalf. Even on the day of travel, after showing proof of what the host was trying pull days prior, VRBO took no action. Still, three weeks after our booked arrival date, we are fighting to receive our promised reimbursement. A horrible experience from both the 'host' and VRBO. Unsatisfactory!
