"Excellent property in the woods. It was clean and bright; everything was as good as it looked in the pictures! It was exceptionally well kitted out having everything you could possibly want – and more. The run from Calais was very easy and directions great. Comms with Camille was also very easy - and Google translate filled the gaps where I was a bit rusty!Lots to see and do in the area, many little restaurants - Auberge du Petit Morin in La-Ferté-sous-Jouarre was brill as was Chez Mamies in the village - 15 min walk(?).We went to Paris antique hunting, lots of Champagne tasting, chateaus, cheese making, visited a few of the many Allied & German cemeteries and museums in the area. We used the jacuzzi in the courtyard many evenings, sitting with the lights off drinking fizz and looking up at the hundreds of stars! Would definitely go back without changing anything. "My family and I were on our way to Luxembourg and needed a pit stop hotel. The spa was incredible - pool, cold pool, sauna, massage are what we checked out. We booked a junior suite - the room is spacious, the grounds are well kept and quiet, but with signs of life and family friendly. The views are incredible too. I would highly recommend it. Its not far from town so you can easily dine out. My only fuss was about the 16 Euro breakfast for nothing fancy - we didn't choose the option so we went into town. None the less, 5/5"

"Rooms are not sound proof and kids loud sounds can pass through and irritate neighbors and cause bad impressions. No storage space for luggage available if you wanted to leave it for few hours."
