We fished the Gunnison River 2 days and Uncompahgre River 1 day. The fishing was great and the drive from Montrose to Durango on 550 was beautiful. The Aspens were at their peak and awesome.The home was clean, comfortable and convenient.

This place is so cute and ideally located near the downtown. We were able to walk to shops and to the grocery store. The national park was less than half an hour to the park entrance. One thing we took advantage of daily was the outdoor table. It’s situated nicely so there’s privacy and the sun isn’t in your face on the evenings, and the backyard is beautifully kept. There were plenty of washcloths and towels (a problem we often encounter with rentals), soap, detergent, etc. The whole house was spotless, roomy in its layout, and just a great spot to stay. Parking was right in front but not parallel street parking, which meant we backed up just yards from the fire, and that was nice! We would stay here again if in the area!

The property was exactly what we needed for our National Parks trip. It was convenient to downtown Montrose, Ouray and the NP. The property was spotless, had a ton of character, very well-equipped with amenities and Jeff was extremely helpful in navigating our time in Montrose. What a beautiful home! We loved staying here. Everything was perfect. The house is well equipped, it is super comfortable and so cozy. We really enjoyed the free coffee and the outside patio. We would love to stay here again!

This house was incredible! It was better than anticipated. It was immaculate and felt fresh. It was cool even in the 90 degree summer temps. Great location and base camp to so many cool spots to adventure. Black canyon and ouray are great day trips! Thanks Alex and Jeff
