"We booked this property as a girl holiday getaway for my 40th birthday celebrations. Overall we had a nice stay and found the location great to be able to visit some really stunning towns and villages nearby including Dome, Rocamadour and also had the opportunity to do cannoing in the Dordogne river as it’s such a great spot for it. In terms of the house itself, it had the main things we wanted but I wish the outside area by the pool would have had more greenery or at least a bit of grass....

"2 usesble bathrooms, not 4. Clean but lacking any comfort. One, twoseater sofa for 11 people, no other seating except dining chairs. The cupboards are full of someones effects, this lets the property down. The grounds were lovely but overgrown, balcony views obscured by plant growth, disappointing. The ground was wet all the time because grass was uncut. No hot tub, no spa. No sunbeds. Garden furniture very basic. No WiFi. We paid extra for sheets snd towels but these were very poor; dirty...

"The house was exactly as advertised. It has everything you need for your stay including hairdryers! The pool is fantastic and the view from the house and pool is amazing. We spent many hours just sitting and looking! There is so much to do in the area. I definitely recommend a visit to the house and Souillac."

"Le jardinier nous a laissé les cles , ne connaissait pas la maison , n'avait pas le code pour la WIfi . Pour la sortie nous étions prets à 9h00 avons envoyé des messages à la femme de ménage sans réponse et au jardinier qui nous a répondu à 10h que l'on pouvait partir en laissant les clés dans la boite à clé il n'était pas au courant de notre départ ! This villa is part of a working farm (sheep & goats) this caused major issues with flys I means loads of them so much so that you could not eat or drink outside in the beautiful sunshine. It really should be pointed out in the advertisement of this villa . Beware "

"Overall experience of the property: - Owners friendly, with a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival - Fantastic pool and a lovely garden - Superb location to visit all of the key areas / sights within the Dordogne Few points to note: - The stairs in the property are very steep, therefore, not suitable for young children or the elderly - The wifi didn't work very well and was intermittent - not a deal breaker but useful to have - Very hot upstairs as no fans or a/c - again not a deal breaker...
