"Overview: At first glance, the house appeared beautiful; however, it did not match the description provided in the listing. Although it was advertised as a "Luxe" property, the reality was far from luxurious. Bathroom Issues:One of the bathrooms was closed and not functioning. Additionally, another bathroom had a sink that leaked. For half of our stay, there was no hot water in half of the bathrooms, which significantly impacted our stay. "Best hotel in Cairo, so close to the Pyramids. Beautiful sunset views from the rooms, from the gardens and Restaurant 139. Staff was so friendly and helpful, loved the grounds. Pool was great to cool off and beat the heat. Oh and the history, I didn’t realize it was so famous for many different reasons, similar to Waldorf Astoria in NYC. If visiting Cairo, it’s a must to be at this hotel."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis exceeded every expectation and was the perfect way to begin and end our trip to Egypt. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with exceptional hospitality. A special thank you to Sama, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. She truly made us feel at home. The rest of the staff were just as wonderful—friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Their genuine hospitality made our experience even more memorable. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning—beautifully designed, elegant, spotless, and incredibly luxurious. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, with every detail thoughtfully prepared. The bed was so comfortable that it was the perfect place to unwind after long days of exploring Egypt. One of the sweetest surprises was for my birthday. The hotel gifted me a beautiful chocolate cake, and it was honestly one of the best chocolate cakes I’ve ever had! It was such a thoughtful gesture that made my birthday feel extra special. To make the stay even more unforgettable, we even experienced an earthquake during the night! Thankfully, everyone was safe, and the hotel staff remained calm and professional throughout. It’s certainly a birthday trip we’ll never forget! The breakfast was outstanding, with an incredible variety of delicious international and authentic Egyptian dishes. Every meal we enjoyed at the hotel was excellent!"

"I had an amazing stay at The Palace Pyramids Hotel! The food was some of the best we had during our trip, and the free breakfast was a wonderful bonus. The view of the pyramids while having breakfast was absolutely incredible and made the experience even more special. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They made me and my wife feel comfortable and well taken care of from the moment we arrived. We truly enjoyed our time here, and we will definitely be visiting again next year. If you’re looking for a great hotel with delicious food, friendly staff, and an amazing view of the pyramids, I highly recommend The Palace Pyramids Hotel. It was an amazing experience!"

"Lovely Pension type hotel, occupies 2 developed gigantic apartments in one of downtown Cairo’s buildings from the glory days. High level of finishing and attention to detail for Cairo standard. Location, Location, Location. In the heart of downtown, in the middle of it all. Or a short hop to any destination. Must visit: cafe American, cafe Riche, fulfill for street food brought inside. Makan for a psychedelic session. Try to request a Fourth Floor Room. Where windows are soundproof."
