This was meant as just a place to get some sleep over a 17hr drive so we werent looking for anything fancy. Exterior looks a bit older and hallways were a bit loud as an old structure but our room was clean. Decent size with table, a couple chairs, good bathroom. It was 2 adults for 1 night so worked for us. Depends on your standards I guess. It was pet friendly so we appreciated that.

Best Budget Motel in Scranton area

Second time staying at this motel while visiting family. Motels in this area are pretty much are all the same but after new management/ownership remodeled and put in the back, honestly my new favorite place to stay. The older man and his son (only guessing not sure if family), are polite, professional, kind, and accommodating! Will be in my top 3 for Wilkesbarre/Scranton area for sure! Room: “Back Rooms”: clean and organized, larger than average motel per sq ft, smell good, linen average (could be a little better), bathrooms clean and stocked, fridge (average size/expected), microwave (average), TV (modern)

Place is under renovation so updated pictures will need to be put online. Building is now blue and not green. None smoking room was once a smoking room and smell faintly lingers in the room. The sheets and blankets were clean however blankets need to be replaced with ones that don't have cigarette burns on them. On the first floor handicap bars should be placed in the bathrooms. The place was priced reasonable and I would not have a problem staying there again if needed. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall the place was clean and met mine and my family needs. It was easy access of and back on 81.

The room was disgusting. Dirty linens, food and cigarette butts in the vents of the heater/ac, dirty hairs left under the toilet seat, the chair covered in cigarette burns and looked like years of greasy stains. This was a non refundable rate however I think in this circumstance, Expedia should override the hotel's no refund policy as Expedia is representing this as a clean safe place! The pictures on the website look great! Total misrepresentation!!!😡😡😡Do not stay here! Expedia should remove them from the list of choices. I have photographs of all of this. They let the hotel decide if they wanted to refund me or not! Of course they decided to uphold their strict no refund policy! Ended up paying a more expensive rate about 3 miles away at a clean safe hotel.

Owner said I had to pay a $20 deposit in cash otherwise he would keep my ID until I checked out. Made accusations I was using the room for prostitution and completely unprofessional.

This property was absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. Stains on the beds, stains on the walls, webs building up on the corners of the room, the ceiling in the bathroom was falling apart. Plaster on the ceiling in the bathroom fell the vent in the bathroom blowing hot air the shower was completely stained and poorly fixed. Property completely unkept. Then the man at the front desk wanted to hide in the back office. If i could I'd upload the pictures i took of the place.
