Moratella is home to the ancient heritage of the Order of Santiago and cave paintings and the remains of Iberian, Roman and medieval settlements complement the beauty of the forests and hills. The silhouette of the castle stands out against the landscape of the valleys, like a postcard, and the charming labyrinth of narrow streets is steeped in history and antiquity. Take a stroll through the town and learn more about its identity. Then you can explore the beautiful natural surroundings on foot, e.g. along the Camino Vera Cruz and Ruta del Argar pilgrimage routes. We also recommend the Sotos y Bosques de Ribera de Canaverosa nature reserve. The Pico del Buitre peak will delight mountain hikers. The property is also close to bathing spots such as the Somogil swimming pools, La Puerta site and the River Segura.
