"This was a beautiful piece of property to stay at in the city of Assisi. It was in a location that was very easy to access all the major Catholic holy sites. We took the city bus line up from the train station and were within a manageable walking distance from the bus stop. There are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes near by. A major plus was having the police station just down the block, so we felt extremely safe walking around at night."

"We never got to meet Monia, as she was away, but her brother, Mauro, took excellent care of us. He met us at the bottom of the hill and escorted us to the house and showed us around. "If you want a quiet, low key rental villa in Umbria centrally located to Assisi, Spello, Montefalco and Spoleto, this is perfect. Would be nice if there was breakfast on site or Nespresso and pastries at least. But overall, good value and would recommend. The pool is beautiful and walking through the olive groves was great."

"We spent a very good three nights here. We drove, so Simone’s recommendation of the Saba Matteotti parking was helpful. It’s a 5 min walk downhill (uphill on the way back) to the apartment. He provides an Assisi local tourist card that gives you a couple of euros off the daily rate, so €12 a day. We parked in the open air because we missed the ramp down to the covered areas.
