"Very (unexpectedly) nice property which appears to be brand new. Modern, very clean room with great air conditioning. Elevator was a great touch. Our 10-year-old was with us and the staff even put out a child-sized robe which was an amazingly thoughtful touch. Staff went out of their way to be helpful, even struggling with English to accommodate us. Safe (free!), on-site parking. Breakfast was delicious with a varied menu. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Palazzo Cannavina in Campobasso is truly one of the best places to stay when visiting the city and the stunning Molise region. The communication was excellent—quick, helpful responses from the moment we booked. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed with elegant linens, and filled with stunning artwork throughout the building that made every hallway feel like a gallery. One of the most impressive aspects was the daily housekeeping. Our bed was made each morning and the room tidied—a level of care and attention that seems lost in many American hotels, even at high-end resorts. It was refreshing to feel genuinely taken care of, rather than having to chase down basic customer service. (Yes, Disney—this one’s for you!) The atmosphere of Palazzo Cannavina was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was a highlight—served upon request and beautifully presented, it felt more like being a guest in someone’s refined home than staying in a hotel and with Castello Monforte just steps from your door, you’re quite literally surrounded by history. Campobasso itself is a hidden gem. The local shopping and dining were charming, with an authenticity that’s hard to find in more tourist-heavy spots. The people of Campobasso are kind, welcoming, and clearly excited to share their city with visitors. "
