We could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay during our time in the Cotswolds. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, there was a downstairs shower room in the laundry area, so you don’t have to keep going up the very cute, but rather narrow staircase to the upstairs bathroom. The decor and interior design was fabulous and well thought out. There was outside space with part grass and part gravel, plus a conservatory. The bed was super comfy and even though the cottage is by the side of the A44 ( not a major road, but did get morning and evening traffic mostly), it didn’t hinder our stay at all. For me, too many places don’t put any effort to how a place is decorated and this was done beautifully, cosy yet spacious and so welcoming after a long walk in the nearby countryside. Thankyou to our hosts who were so responsive and friendly.. if you are not used to being in an old cottage, the ceilings are lower than you might expect, but that just adds to the charm.
