"Overall, I think this hotel was a good value for the price, and I would stay here again if I'm back in the area.
The staff did an excellent job keeping the property clean, neat, and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean, which made for a pleasant stay.
That said, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The "breakfast" was very disappointing—I don't think it should even be advertised as breakfast based on what was offered. The room also didn't have enough electrical outlets, and there were no USB charging ports. Even with just two people, keeping our devices charged was inconvenient.
Another drawback was the lack of soundproofing. The walls and ceilings seemed quite thin, and we could clearly hear people walking and moving around above us.
Despite those issues, considering the lower price compared to other hotels in the area, I still felt it was a good value. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, budget-friendly place to stay and don't mind a few shortcomings, it's worth considering."
"Steve was a great host-responsive to all our needs. It was a wonderful place for our dog to roam free and we loved being near the water and the view from the deck. Given its very rural location, perhaps a bit overpriced for a week’s stay."
"The Swift House Inn was a wonderful place to celebrate my friend’s 75th Birthday! From the moment we checked in with Rachael to our check out with Cassie it was perfect. Dinner at Jessica’s was excellent and so was breakfast. The staff was amazing, everyone we came in contact with was happy to assist with anything and they were sincerely happy to be there!"
