The property itself is stunning: a beautifully preserved historic estate set in the peaceful hills near Cortona, surrounded by gardens, vineyards, and the golden light of the Tuscan countryside. But what truly set this place apart — what made it unforgettable — was the food. We were treated to an extraordinary culinary journey: over 19 exquisite courses, each one more delicious and artfully presented than the last. Every dish felt like a masterpiece — bold in flavor, flawless in technique, and crafted with the kind of passion you’d expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The chef didn’t just cook — they told a story with each plate. The restaurant staff went above and beyond, especially the manager, who made us feel like honored guests every time we sat down to dine. Every detail — from wine pairings to plating — was perfect. It was, hands down, the best food we had in all of Europe. "Fantastic hotel, all of the staff are excellent and made the experience even better. The views from the hotel of Cortona are incredible and we wish we'd booked a longer stay. The rooms are immaculate, clean and very comfortable. All of the amenities follow in the same vein and are so nice you almost don't want to venture out into the town. "

"Absolutely fabulous stay! We came as a family of 4 with our 2 college students. The rooms were perfectly appointed, the staff went above and beyond. We mentioned that we wanted a wine tasting and they made that happen the next day (a Saturday). The food at breakfast was wonderful. Parking was easy. The pool was the greatest end to a day. Dinner at Cortona twice while we were there was fun! We will definitely be back! "
