"Very beautiful house with all the essentials. The only thing we didn’t like is the owner lives in the front house & had been watching us throughout out the night. At one point we were about to leave & she called (which I missed) & then texted me to ask me to lock the door & put the key in the lock box. My dad also said he could see someone watching us from the top windows when we were coming back. They are new to booking & I don’t think their intentions are bad however it just doesn’t feel...

"We have stayed at the purple Hen before and enjoyed it then and again this time. We would definitely recommend it to family and friends, great atmosphere, very comfortable, superb surroundings, great facilities, and very ideal central location but in a rural setting "

"This was our first place in New Zealand. Accommodations were clean and comfortable and the hot tub outside, surrounded by farmland and Eucalyptus, was lovely. The birds were a welcome wake up and the sunrise stunning (They did have shades to block it out for late risers too) It was an easy drive to Hobbiton and the Waitimo caves. I’d stay here again!"

"Very Modern and super comfortable beds! Well supplied to make your stay comfortable. Just out of Cambridge town centre so very peaceful. Only flag is the only TV and couch is in the second bedroom so if kids go to bed early you will be reading a good book or on devices."

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful luxurious house overlooking the Waikato River. There was a safe swimming area in the river and a hot tub. The house was spacious, with all amenities inside and out bbq etc. inside outside stereo sounds , awesome tv viewing. All amenities provided and more just needed to turn up with bag clothes. Big enough for family or couple. Host with the mostest as well."
