"Baywatch Cottage – Long Island, Bahamas April 2–10An outstanding stay from start to finish. Debbie and Phillip are exceptional hosts. They met us at Stella Maris Airport and escorted us directly to the cottage. Cozy, comfortable, and right on the bay, Baywatch delivers exactly what you're looking for if you want to unplug and recharge.Long Island itself is a gem. Up north: the Columbus Monument, the stunning beach at Cape Santa Maria, and rum punches with Shawn at the Busted Bridge. Down south: Gordon's Settlement, another gorgeous white-sand beach with turquoise water, and great conversation (and rum punches) with Earnest, who knows this island inside and out. In between, don't miss Dean's Blue Hole, the Shrimp Hole, and stops at the Vantage Point (ask for Ash), Dapple, Tiny's, Chez Pierre (excellent meal), Harbour Club, Sou' Side, and Letta's.Bahama Mama Debbie and Phillip will take great care of you. "Amazing stay loved walking right out on to the beach. We saw rays, sharks, starfish and lots of fish right out the back door. Karin the house manager was wonderful and even did some shopping for us before we arrived. She also was able to get us a highchair and pack and play for our 1 year old. "

"Our room was very clean with a lovely view towards the sea. We really enjoyed the Moonshine Bar where the food and drink was spot on and we enjoyed watching the sea and walking on the shore. There are hammocks and a few loungers available also. The main building is comfortable and nicely set out. it was super quiet when we were there which was lovely, the only downside being the bar and food service stopped at 6.30m which is very early. "

"Absolutely beautiful beach and resort! Great place to do nothing and unwind. The dinner and bar staff was wonderful. Met some fun people. Receptionists could have paid better attention to front desk. Our room was never cleaned."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home and can’t say enough good things about it. Before we arrived, the host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. The home itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It had all the amenities we could have asked for and more, including kayaks and paddle boards, which made it so easy to enjoy the water whenever we wanted. Being right on the beach was perfect! The design of the home is modern, stylish, and very comfortable, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind. The location is also ideal, making it easy to explore both the north and south ends of the island. This stay truly exceeded our expectations. In fact, we’re already thinking about our next trip to Long Island and it will absolutely be based on this home’s availability. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect island getaway!"

"This beautiful 4 BR, duplex villa was built for a designer and architect. It is informal, open, functional and well stocked with everything needed for cooking and serving meals. Each BR has it's own "en-suite" bathroom. The showers are HUGE and warm water is plentiful. There were ample beach towels and sun hats provided. A dedicated "water cooler" with large bottles of spring water provided all needed potable water. The house is approx 1kM from the Stella Maris resort and 0.5kM from the Stella Maris beach and beach bar.The host (Bruno) was attentive, available and very helpful. He arranged for a rental car and we gave him a shopping list of groceries which were already in the house when we arrived. "
