"We had the best time! Had all of my family there with plenty of room! The house was exactly what we needed. Beautiful views and great dock for my sons boat! The GRANDS loved fishing from the dock and especially loved the game room! There was plenty of parking too. The ease of the check in was very convenient. We cooked in and the kitchen was very well stocked! Can’t wait for our return trip next year."

"Really enjoyed staying in a historic building. You could hear street traffic but by 10pm the traffic was not much at all. We enjoyed walking the town and being close to the lake."

"Every thought is put into making this a wonderful stay. This is a beautiful home. My only gripe is something that isn't controlled by the host, is due to a nearby train track, who blares the horn, I wasn't able to sleep past 6 a.m. and the latest it was happening was 11:45 p.m. so I unfortunately couldn't get more than five hours of sleep a night."

"Overall it was a nice house, with easy access to all things around Douglas Lake. The only downsides were that we had to wash the sheets, as one set was not clean, with some dirt and trash in the bed. Also, there was no hairdryer, contrary to what was listed in the amenities."

"Had fun, rented a pontoon boat, went golfing, burnt wood in the fire pit, swam off the docks, grilled, fixed dinner in the kitchen and walked around talking to the neighbors."

"We stayed here for a few nights over Memorial Weekend so that we could visit with our family. It was perfectly lovely, clean, modernized and the hosts really thought of everything. The kitchen was stocked, the decor was nice, the place was super clean and just felt like home! Having a one year old with us, it was so great to have the house come with a nice pack - n - play as well as a quality highchair.
