The view from our starboard room was incredible — direct, unencumbered views of the Morro Rock were incredible. Lovely staff, great food right below us at the Galley, and it was a lovely overnight stay. Will come back here again 100%.
We had such an amazing time at the Anderson Inn for my husbands 30th birthday! The room was beautiful and the views were even better. They even gave us complimentary champagne and the cutest birthday card when we got in the room. The staff was so kind and friendly. 10/10 recommend! Will definitely be back!
Everything about this hotel was wonderful, from the friendly staff, organized check in, beautiful and comfortable room, to the location. This is definitely my new favorite place to stay!
Enjoyed our stay very much. The room was very clean and modern. I probably wouldn’t stay in the Shoreline room again, but I would choose the hotel again.
The hotel staff was kind that guides us through the room equipment, parking, sightseeing spots and restaurants. The view from the 2nd floor room was stunning.
Spacious, clean and very comfortable room with great shower. Nicely decorated. A view of Morro rock from small balcony. We had a delicious meal at the attached restaurant which has amazing views of Morro rock. We received a warm welcome when we checked in. We would definitely recommend staying here.
Very nice room. Definitely same as or better than photos. I wanted to stay again but it was still. Night clerk was super nice and helped me with a specific issue I had. Really nice place to stay. Super comfortable.
Beautiful room and conveniently located in Morrow Bay! It was disappointing however, that we never received the complimentary champagne to celebrate our anniversary as we were promised.
The location was perfect, situated within walking distance to a variety of restaurants, making dining out a breeze. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly.
The room was clean and well-maintained, with the highlight undoubtedly being the breathtaking view from the balcony. Waking up to such a beautiful sight was truly a treat.
Overall, my experience here was nothing short of exceptional, and I can confidently say that I will definitely be returning in the future.
The Anderson Inn is my new favorite hotel. It's on a busy street, but we could barely hear the traffic and other guests. Parking was available next to the hotel, which was very convenient. Our room was incredibly spacious and clean with two balconies. The shower was really big with multiple shower heads at different heights. Plus, the staff left us the cutest swans made out of towels -- a really sweet touch. I can't wait to stay at this hotel again!
Bed was very comfy, place was immaculate & everything was freshly decorated. Views of Morro Rock from your balcony were awesome. Quiet rooms, could not hear my neighbors. :) Place was fully booked. I reserved my room in June and went there in middle of August. Right in the middle of downtown. Food at restaurant was wonderful.
We have been traveling down the coast for the last three weeks and this is the best place that we have stayed! The port side room is perfect! We had a great view of the harbor, listen to the seals sing, watch the otters play, watched the pelicans fish during the day, and the sailboats Bob around in the bay. it was walkable to all of the local restaurants and easy to walk to parks and also the ocean. The parking was secure and easy to get in and out of, there is an elevator to make things easier to get your luggage up to the second floor accommodations. I have to say this place is perfect. We also had a microwave and a refrigerator. We cannot wait to go back!
Morro Bay is a great vacation spot! There weren’t a lot of tourists, and so much for is to do. We were super impressed with the accommodations and location. Coming from Las Vegas, the cool weather was a welcoming treat. Anderson Inn is conveniently located down by the bay. It has a cozy cabin feel with vaulted ceilings. The room was large enough for us to store our two mountain bikes. We have a large truck, and we had parking accommodations that felt safe and not on the street. The staff was super friendly. The only reason I marked down comfort to four stars is because my wife mentioned that the bed had a “hole,” and she couldn't get comfortable. However, I thought the bed was very comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. If you have trouble sleeping with sounds, keep the window and doors closed. The seals and seagulls are vocal all day and night, but we thought it was part of the charm. We are looking forward to our next visit!
