"Check in was at 4pm. Arrived at 3:45 told room was not ready and would be called when ready. Gave them my cell number and left for what I thought would be a short time and eventually became an hour and a half after I drove back to check on the room. Very disappointing!"

"For the price point, this was lovely. Walking distance to all Morro Bay Embarcadero attractions and dining. Stayed with my daughter and had a sweet time. "

"The spa was unkept. Green algae was present. They had no hot water for tea and stated they wouldn’t obtain any. The facility is old and only decently maintained. The bathroom tub barely drained. I paid for a no smoking room but there had been somebody smoking in it. I had to text the front desk because the people next to us were smoking on the balcony and it entered our room causing and asthma attack. There were not enough pillows. The housekeeping staff didn’t speak English and dismissed me when I spoke Spanish with them. I will not come back ever again. Nor will I recommend. I wish I could get a refund for my stay. "

"The top three reasons I booked this hotel.. location, elevator from underground parking, and ocean view. The photo on Expedia shows a beautiful view of the bay and Moro Rock. But our room had a huge tree completely blocking the view of the Rock and most of the Bay. Very disappointing. The AC was slow to cool the room, the beds were not that comfortable, the fixtures and furnishings outdated, walking barefoot on the floor was weird as there's zero padding under the old carpeting. They had a flashlight in the closet area and I needed to use it one night but the on-off button was broken. The room had an overhead fan but the remote control to turn it on off didn't work. I was somewhat pleased to see they had decaf coffee in the room but, when I opened the coffee packet the product was so old it didn't even smell like coffee . This was just not a good value for the money spent. I would not stay in this hotel again probably not even if the price was lower."

"DO NOT STAY HERE. Very rude fellow at the desk, seems to be a swindler. I’d prepaid and reserved a room with a king size bed and view. Upon arrival, he said no rooms were available except for this dingy, dark, musty room under the stairs right next to the office. He charged my credit card for my service dog, even though that’s illegal. He also baited and switched an older couple in front of me, also stating there were no upper floor rooms even though they’d reserved one too. The rooms smell like mildew, dim lighting, and no AC. When I told him the whole thing was unacceptable, he snatched the key from my hand and yelled “You’re unacceptable! Go! Get out!” I contacted Expedia right away to report what happened, and discovered many terrible reviews of the place on Trip Advisor. This place should be shut down. "

"Upon arriving, the young man in the office was very nice. Parking was great, area was clean. Room appeared to be recently remodeled and looked beautiful. Nice little balcony with a table and two chairs. Coffee and water was available in the room along with robes, and the usual shampoo conditioner shower gel, toilet paper was good too. My only complaint was the bed, but that's always my complaint in most places, it was a little bit too hard for my body composition. Would I stay here again? Yes, I would. The place felt safe and it was quiet. It was within walking distance to a marina, shops and restaurants. I highly recommend!"
