"The main kids pool was closed (and has been for 2 months). This pool was the reason why we booked this hotel.
Itâs great for families with smaller children but gets very noisy at times.

"Occidental JandĂa is a lovely hotel. We had the Royal Level package, and the selection of food and drinks was great. Lunch and dinner offered a good variety of healthy options. There were plenty of drink choices as well, and the cocktails were especially good.
I was also impressed by the staff. There was a waiter named Dani in the Royal Level restaurant who was very kind and took the time to explain a few things about the culture and economy of Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands. Coincidentally, his brotherâwho works at receptionâhelped us book a taxi when we were leaving. Cynthia at the front desk also gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived."

"The hotel is in need of a refurbishment. The rooms are tired and the common areas fairly spartan. The food was OK but simliar options at each lunch and evening. The All Inclusive did not include any spirits - it was another âŹ18 per day extra for these "extras". The staff are pleasant but are required to multi task". ie work behind bar and clear tables in the dining room. Whilst acknowledging the hotel aims to achieve a low environmental impact the towels and sheets were worn, and the rooms were only cleaned on request.
