"I normally stay at Barkley Lake State Resort but decided to make the extra drive to check out the Pennyrile Golf Course. So glad we did. The lodge was just as beautiful as well as the grounds and the area in general. Will definitely return with couples for more golfing next year. The place was practically empty, not sure why because we had a wonderful stay. You'd think it would be hard to secure a room. I have NEVER seen any marketing or advertising for Pennyrile other than flyers at the park shops. Kentucky sure knows how to run a great State Park system. Kudos. "

"Everything we needed for a quiet weekend in the outdoors! Cabin was very accommodating and comfortable. Enjoyed porch sitting with a view, built a fire and roasted marshmallows with the kids! Sweet, stray dog with collar/no tags frequented the property, no animal control in the county. Just a heads up if you are traveling with your furbabies. "

"Our stay at Nathan’s farm was absolutely amazing! He was pretty flexible with us coming in super late to help guide us into his beautiful cabin. The farm was absolutely beautiful. If we had the time we would’ve loved to visit with his animals. Him and his wife was wonderful host! "
