Super friendly checkin even tho we were late, gorgeous views. Not much within walking distance, but all other ways EXCELLENT!

I traveled with my husband and 1 year old. This was a very clean place with a lot of space. We loved being able to do some grocery shopping to eat at our place at the end of the day. Great base - we explored Reykjavik, Snaefellsness peninsula from here. Wish I would have stayed here my first night as a base to explore the Golden Circle as well.

It was awesome to stay in such a unique place and it was SOOOO much better than I could have hoped for. The kitchen was great, and the hot tub was such a treat

Clean neat room, great staff, great services! Room does not have tooth brush or paste, soap otherwise perfect. Location not close to flybus stop is a probably the only minus.

Nice, clean, quiet hotel. Breakfast was great! Not too much around the neighborhood , but great for what we needed it for.

The hotel is conveniently located, tours pick up right outside the front door. The included breakfast was fabulous. Parking is included. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful. We will absolutely stay again next visit.

Best breakfast ever! Really liked that our room had a small window that could be opened. We had a car so location wasn’t a problem but without your own transportation the location would not be convenient.

We took a chance on this hotel as there were no reviews yet, and couldn't have been happier. It's brand new, the staff was super nice, and the location was great. Would definitely stay here again.

I had the most enjoyable stay at Eyja Guldsmeden! A very clean hotel with excellent service! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the location of the hotel is very convenient. Special thanks to Laura who was super nice and helpful with dining recommendations! Will be back!

Great location, felt safe, a little snug for two people (mainly if you have big luggage) but definitely manageable. We would definitely stay again!

My wife and I just finished up a November vacation in Iceland. We plan to do another vacation to Iceland again in summertime so we can drive the Ring Road route. When we come back, we're already looking forward to staying at this hotel again -- the staff mostly consists of the owners, and they take pride in seeing that their services and quality are of a high standard, while yet at very reasonable prices. The owner and staff were very accommodating and extremely helpful. They also went out of their way to make sure any questions we had were answered. Parking was free, great complimentary breakfast. Property is about a 40 minute drive from the airport, 15 min walk from the center of town. They really care about their business here. Support local small businesses. They truly care.

Love hotel halfway between the airport and downtown. The room itself was super comfy (with a lovely bathtub!) and the concierge was very helpful. The breakfast was your typical nice hotel breakfast (eggs, bacon, cold cuts, etc), plus a sampling of exotic meats (e.g. smoked whale). Staff was extremely helpful with ideas for things to do during a blizzard. Breakfast was wonderful and the room was cozy and warm. Great location.

Perfect

This apartment is a gem!! It is located beside “bus stop 12” and we were picked up there for all of our excursions so extremely convenient. The apartment itself was perfect for our party of 3 and it had everything we needed for our stay. We took a short walk to a grocery store and made quite a few meals in the well stocked kitchen. The washer and dryer were a bonus! I highly recommend!!!
