"The breakfast was wonderful and kept stocked and clean. Front office staff was welcoming and kind. There was a snafu with our reservation and they were helpful and apologetic. The room itself left a lot to be desired. There was leftover food under the pull outcouch, the corners of the room were dirty and had pieces of the drywall on the floor. The chair was stained with something orange and flipping the cushion didn't make much of a difference. Overall, breakfast and the staff (front desk and breakfast attendant) made this stay good. The room could've used some TLC."

"There was no complementary coffee available this morning when I get ready to leave. I tried to buy coffee from the bistro and I could not use a credit card. They only took cash or a charge to your room and I’d already checked out. This is super inconvenient and furthermore due to the price of the room and a price of a cup of coffee. I think it’s reasonable to offer that complementary coffee."

"Clean and quiet. Reasonably priced. Convenient location. Comfortable bed. Refrigerator was not very cold, but shower was good and hot. Staff friendly, but not always available when needed."

"Room had a jacuzzi tub but didnt advise us at check in that it didnt work. Shower was almost unusable being clogged and what little water we had the water was shooting all the wrong ways. Was also some random hairs laying around. I will not return. I paid $160 for what was worth maybe half that."

"The hotel was poorly staffed. The breakfast was not fully stocked and all hot options were cold. The person working in the kitchen complained to us that staff was not showing up to work, and she didnt have enough help. Our room was ok, but it was not that clean. Bathroom floor was not cleaned and there was dirt on on the moldings. The bed was ok. We will look for another hotel near Lansing next time."

"Upon check-in, the front desk was rude. As soon as my child found a cockroach at the swimming pool, we thought hard about having to leave. Packing up we realized the room itself was in terrible shape. Food stains on walls, dirty linens, pieces of food along walls. I wanted to try to make it work so I asked for a vacuum. I kept finding more disgusting things. Even the ice bucket and tray were coated in sticky goo. Microwave was unplugged. Found out it had a burnt smell inside. We left 2 hours later after thinking about it over dinner. Front desk man said Nisha the manager would refund in the morning. I called, expressed my concerns and she said because I “used” the room (mind you we didn’t sleep there) we couldn’t get a refund and hung up on me. When Hotels called, she claimed I trashed the room.
