"We had a very good stay at the hotel. The front desk staff were especially helpful. We appreciated being informed that for a small fee we could check in hours before the normal check in time. Since we arrived at 11am from the cruise ship we gladly paid the fee and were able to immediately go to our room. The only issue we had was that the cleaning staff removed all the dirty coffee cups one day and didn’t replace them. We could not make coffee in the morning since there were no cups. The coffee maker has a sensor on it that requires a “heavier” glass coffee cup to be used in order for the coffee maker to brew. A paper coffee cup would not work. Annoying!! The Restaurant had very good food but pricey - as are most places in San Francisco. The Top of the Mark is wonderful! "

"The Handlery was great. The hotel was immaculate and the staff was exceptional. Unfortunately we will never return due to the feces, urine and vomit on the streets around the property. There were homeless people all over and it felt unsafe. The hotel deserves SF to do their part! "
