"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unique destination and will definitely be back!The primary cabin is a true labor of love—Mark has done an awesome, inspired build using locally sourced materials, including beautiful live-edge siding. It’s quiet, rustic, and peaceful.The off-grid power system is easy to engage, though it requires a bit of awareness. Mark does a great job helping you understand the idiosyncrasies of the cabin: running the generator for about an hour charges the battery to 100%, which then gives you up to 8 hours of power. If you aren't comfortable rationing your power consumption, this might not be the place for you, but we absolutely loved the experience!The sleeping setup includes a loft bed accessed by a small stairwell. As a 5'10" 50-year-old woman, I had no problem getting in and out of the loft comfortably.Very pet friendly.Outside, we enjoyed easy access to the river, and the charcoal grill was simple to light and keep going for dinner. While it feels blissfully remote, a great local grocery store and gas station are right nearby, plus there are plenty of local activities to check out.Thank you, Mark, for sharing this special place with us!"
