"I stayed with two friends here for a long weekend of cycling in the surrounding alpine countryside. Property was easy to find/access, and just as described, which was perfect for our stay. It was spotlessly clean. The communications with the owner were first class, and they were incredibly helpful in letting us check-in early and check-out late so that we could squeeze in additional rides on our first and last day. "I stayed with my three college aged children. Accommodations were spacious and comfortable. Living room furniture seemed a little tired looking but linens were fresh and clean, bathroom was great and having a washing machine was a big bonus! It was quite hot the weekend we were there. I would suggest making fans available to guests since there was no air conditioning. Quick walk from train station and close to everything!! Highly recommend!"

"Great studio right in the centre of the old town! Walking distance to the lake, a selection of great restaurants and really well equipped. Perfect base for a solo traveller! Although worth noting given it’s an old building (expected given it’s the old town) that the walls are a little thin so you can hear the neighbours and the final staircase up to the studio is pretty narrow/steep so be careful if you have large luggage you may struggle getting up to it. "

"The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful"

"This is a very convenient location, by the lake with and a short stroll to town. Rooms were well appointed and very clean. I appreciated the still and sparking water fountains on each floor, with reusable bottles available. Underground parking was very helpful, staff let us park after we checked out for a time, as we went back into the town. Pool and patio areas are lovely and the cafe had all we needed (we didn’t make it to the first floor restaurant). Staff were very friendly and helpful, gracious with my limited French and switched to English as needed."

"While the surrounding area is "meh" the hotel itself is a five-star property in my book. In fact if this hotel was anywhere else it WOULD be a five star hotel. Brand new facility, amazing rooms and good breakfast. The staff was incredibly helpful and very accommodating, especially Ocean during check-in. With this being an essentially brand new hotel they have some kinks to work out with the parking situation but the parking and rooms are VERY secure. Close proximity to the train station and Annecy city center is walkable from the location. If I find myself in Annecy again will definitely stay at Hotel La Chappel!"

"We had a lovely stay at the Campanile. Excellent location for the old town and the station. The staff were lovely, especially the breakfast lady who was so cheerful and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, the only downside was the shower head which was nothing more than a dribble. Get that fixed and it would be a 5 star review."
