You arrive to a quiet stretch of road where the trees stand tall and the day immediately slows. The Hearth & Pine House sits comfortably here—welcoming, calm, and designed for time together. There’s no rush. Just space to settle in and let the rhythm of the area guide your stay.

Mornings often begin outside, coffee in hand beneath the covered pergola. Whether the sun is shining or rain drifts softly through the trees, it’s a place that invites you to linger. The firepit waits nearby, and the yard feels open and relaxed—perfect for unhurried conversations or a quiet start to the day.

Inside, the home feels easy and well-balanced. Light filters through large windows into the open living space, where comfortable seating makes it natural to gather. The kitchen anchors the house, ready for shared breakfasts, simple lunches, and dinners that stretch a little longer than planned. The dining table becomes the center of the day—meals, games, plans for tomorrow.

With three private bedrooms, everyone has space to retreat when needed. The private primary suite features an en-suite bathroom with a double-sink vanity, walk-in closet, and separate shower/toilet area for added privacy. Evenings bring a gentle shift in pace. Some nights end with stories around the fire, others with a quiet movie or a glass of wine under the pergola as the air cools. The house settles into stillness easily, offering restful nights and deep sleep.

Days here are flexible. Beaches, hiking trails, and Castle in the Clouds are just down the road, close enough to explore without effort. If you’ve brought a boat, an optional slip nearby makes lake days simple. If not, the surrounding towns, shoreline walks, and scenic drives offer plenty to discover.

This is a home made for slowing down—comfortable, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up for gathering without distraction. A place where mornings are unhurried, evenings are calm, and time feels like it finally stretches out the way it should.

This is a dog-friendly home, and we love hosting well-behaved pups! To keep the space comfortable for all guests, only dogs are permitted (no cats or other pets).

Please let us know in advance if you’ll be bringing a dog, and be sure to add them to the reservation, as the pet fee applies per dog. Any additional dogs must be approved in advance.
