Once you drive onto the property, you'll know you've found the spot where you'll make memories to last a lifetime. The rest of the group will follow and immediately crown you "vacation hero" for securing this gem. Upon walking through the front door, you'll be greeted by high ceilings; glass galore looking out to the lake and high-end furnishings by Restoration Hardware. The main floor gives you a gourmet kitchen complete with 2 wine/beverage refrigerators and an espresso/cappuccino machine fit for the most discerning of baristas (no worries - there's also a traditional drip coffee maker for those just looking for a low-tech cup of joe). This floor also boasts a living room with wood burning fireplace (owner allows only Duraflame-type logs to be burned) and floor to cathedral ceiling windows; dining room; cozy conversation room; family room with comfy couches for evening movie-thons and ensuite 3/4 bath. This floor also has a 1/2 bath.
The primary bedroom is found by venturing up its private stairway to the second floor. It enjoys a private deck looking out to the water, king bed, bathroom with huge shower stall plus a soaking tub and a washer and dryer. A second stairway at the other end of the house will lead you to additional second floor bedrooms including two with king beds and private decks (one of these bedrooms also has 2 twin chair beds). In addition, you'll find the perfect "bunk room" for the kids to set up camp during their stay. Here they'll enjoy late-night ghost stories or giggle sessions with 3 queen beds and a twin chair bed - this room also has a TV. All 3 of these bedrooms have private baths and there is even a second washer and dryer on this end of the second floor.
A stroll down to the walk-out lower level will amaze and delight you when you see the large family room complete with gas fireplace and big-screen TV plus bar with wine refrigerator - not to mention a pool table, foosball and ping pong - as well as 2 authentic arcade games (Pac Man & Street Fighter II, Champion Edition). The lower level also offers yet another bedroom from which you can walk out to the beautiful waterfront and a 6th full bath. They say calories don't count on vacation but, if you want to work off some of those gourmet meals, there's even a home gym in the lower level complete with a Peloton bike and yoga mats.
Just when you think it can't get any better, just step outside and gaze upon the beautifully landscaped yard to the 176 feet of shorefront. Several waterside deck and patio spaces offer options for relaxing as well as dining and preparing your meals on the gas grill. The waterfront firepit is the perfect place for unplugging and reconnecting after a day of fun on the lake while watching the sun set and enjoying some s'mores. The perched beach is the perfect place to relax and work on your tan. When you're ready to cool off, swim out to the raft where you can sit and take in the nature around you and catch some more sun before jumping back in for a swim back to shore. There are 2 docks that will accommodate your 2 boats up to 26 feet in length (owner keeps his boat and jet ski on one of the docks). There are also 2 single and 1 double kayaks if you enjoy a nice paddle along the shoreline or, if you're a bit more adventurous, there is also a paddle board for your use.
