"No where was I informed before making this reservation that their signature restaurant The Rugby Grille was closed for a remodel. Then their amazing High Tea is now NOT offered. The bar is now temporarily located in what used to be a beautiful lobby… Why did I pay all that money???!!!"

"Parking in the lot a block away for $20 with unlimited in/out privileges was easy to access and safe. We needed extra bedding for the pull out couch, and staff brought it up to our unit, within a half hour. In unit laundry, full kitchen, absolutely gorgeous city views with automatic blinds. The unit was super clean and fully furnished. Having all the space for everyone in our group to have privacy was so wonderful. The only slight downside was the noise during the night from a banner on the side of the building flapping in the wind. The hosts had provided earplugs, eye masks and noise machines in each bedroom! "

"Very dark hallway and room. Broken lamp on the table. Plus is big towel, bathrobe which I did not use. For sure no water sprinkler is the old code, old building. The parking information was not clear. I was told different information. Chicago parking where I am from is a lot more. Just tell honestly how much. It is understandable. My door key is not working so many times. "

"The moment we walk in greeted with kindness and the lobby smelled Devine. Our room was super clean, beds are great. Breakfast was just ok did like the bagels."

"The are no elevators and lots and lots of very steep steps. There isn’t even a dumb-waiter for luggage. The is also no bell service. When I ask if I could get help the guy said “nawh, we don’t do that.” There is no hair dryer. The carpet next to the baseboards is filthy. Your room features a flimsy key lock and dead bolt. It doesn’t feel “historic” more like sketchy. The body wash smelled nice. "
