"I night stay - amazing lake! Room was v comfortable, very helpful staff, breakfast in the room was a plus - lake views with bacon & eggs :-). Easy parking and short walk to town centre."

"Never felt welcome from check in, asked for a room change for same time of room, turned down flatly with no reason given despite no one checked in that room we asked for. Big bold font to WARN and THREATEN everywhere on their instructions pasted all over the room and property. Shockingly bad. Could not wait to leave, so glad only stayed one night. "

"Easy to get to and park. We were 4 adults in a self contained unit, the extra beds had an unusual access through the main bedroom. The provision of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils was average to poor. And eating in the common cooking areas required you to have your own crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Close enough to walk into Fox Glacier village or an easy 2 minute drive. "

"Booked based on photos of hotel with chilled bar area. Very surprised to find they do not open the bar area outside of restaurant hours. At 8.45 pm wanting a nightcap they told us to go to a local bar. May as well have stayed in one of the local motels or airbnb. Basically an expensive motel with a restaurant."

"Our room (suite with mountain view) was more than enough for our one night stay in Lake Tekapo.. Based off some other slightly negative reviews, it may just depend on which type of room you book. Otherwise, our room was clean, comfortable, and we had no issue with noise or any of the amenities. Our room was situated towards the back of the resort - not sure if that makes a difference with noise level. My partner and I appreciated having the ability to walk to the lake/town center. Checking in and out was also a smooth and quick process for us. "

"Beautiful view from kitchen but everything else was awful. Never been so hot in a dorm. Why air conditioning in the whole hostel but not the rooms? No towel included. And one of the 2 fridges was out so groceries stuffed in one fridge. Super expensive."
