There are many steps (100 apparently) to get to the hotel from town so not recommended if mobility is an issue.

Everything is top‑quality – fully equipped kitchen, perfect pool, beautiful lawn, and great privacy with lots of space from the neighbors.We almost didn’t book because there were few reviews, but we’re so glad we did. Hydrea Hotel is a stunning, high-end property right on the port of Hydra. The view from the terrace is incredible, overlooking the harbor and town. The location is unbeatable—you’re just steps from all the restaurants and shops.
The architecture is beautiful, the place is spotless, and the atmosphere is both luxurious and welcoming. The hostess and staff were wonderful, attentive, and professional.
