This tiny A-frame cabin may be small but it feels spacious and has everything you need for a retreat away from your daily life.
The first floor has a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room. There is a fixed ship’s ladder up to the roomy loft.
You have a well-appointed kitchen that makes good use of the space. We provide most of the utensils, dishes, cups, glasses, and pots and pans you may need. There are two mini fridges, one with a small freezer, and a separate ice maker, as well as a Keurig, kettle, toaster, and mini waffle and pancake makers. You can bake all sorts of goodies in the mini-stove - our pans fit perfectly. We also provide spices, oil, tea, k-cups, creamer, and a few other provisions.
The downstairs bedroom is tucked under the eave with a blackout shade, queen bed, small dresser, a spot for your luggage, door hooks, side table with outlets, and a little tray under the eave.
The bathroom has a full size bathtub/shower combo, medicine cabinet, plenty of toiletries, and a few extras in case you forget your toothpaste or deodorant.
There is a big screen smart tv ready for you to stream in the main living area, a portable all-in-one kitchen table, comfy sofa, ottoman, and a few extra chairs and tables. The ottoman has plenty of extra linens and blankets inside.
Up in the loft under the eaves you’ll find a cozy retreat with blackout shades, a queen bed, shelves and storage ottoman and lots of spaces to tuck your luggage, and a couple of small chairs to sit and chat or enjoy our ever-growing mini art gallery.
All throughout the cabin you’ll find lots of books, puzzles, and games. And writing and art supplies if you’re inspired and feel creative! We’d love if you added any of your art to the cabin.
In the front of the cabin is a big deck with comfy chairs and an umbrella for sipping tea and coffee, napping, reading, writing, or just enjoying the rustle of the trees. It feels like you’re in a tree house! The back deck has a small overhang with a chair if you would like to sit and listen to the rain.
The property sits along the side of a hill, so there are many steep areas. But we have a huge area carved out that includes a fire pit space with chairs and a large cement slab table and stone ledge. Above the fire pit area is a large open space where the trees open up to a beautiful view of the sky. This is a perfect spot for stargazing, or sitting back in a zero gravity chair to find fun shapes in the clouds. Also great for corn hole! We have those chairs and equipment waiting for you.
If you have to work while you’re up there, as we sometimes have to, there is excellent high speed internet, several tables, and a lap desk for you.
