"This property really had it all: a beautiful view, every amenity you could think of, a clean jacuzzi, and plenty of activities for those who want to unplug for a moment. We were astounded by the fully stocked kitchen, reverse osmosis water filter, treehouse views, and clear night sky. We visited in the middle of May, and there was not a cloud in sight the entire visit (though the temperature was perfect.) All areas were very clean and the bathroom was stocked with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.There was also a great selection of books, puzzles, and classic blurays that we were so happy to have access to, in order to stay away from the usual Netflix etc. Would highly recommend. "

"Staff was very welcoming & helpful (a true local) Quaint & walking distance to everything. The beds are super comfortable, slept so good. They have a good functioning TV, refrigerator and microwave. Clean and spacious bathrooms. Anything you need from an expensive hotel minus the price. "

"Quiet serene area. The lodge is cute & the common kitchen has everything you’d need. The views were amazing & star gazing was awesome. Beds were okay. Location is not far from Julian, which is a plus!"

"Perfect accommodations for a moms group weekend away. The property is quiet and we were visited by deer, turkeys, quail, and jays. Even though we had “unseasonably high” temps for our weekend the front porch was still quite comfortable in the mornings and evenings and the A/C was very welcomed at peak temps. The dishwasher was not working so we cleaned up old school style, and wished we had brought dish sponges, kleenex, and saran wrap but otherwise we had everything we needed. Super close to Heise park with lovely hiking trails. Thank you for the great stay!"
