This is a really cool old house. It is very clean. The host communicates very well. I had no complaints about the house, only a few questions, and the host answered very promptly. One thing to note, the house only has one shower and one tub. This was not a problem for our stay, but could present a challenge for others. There is a second toilet and sink bathroom (water closet) upstairs, which was nice. There is tons of parking. The area is VERY quiet. The locals are all very friendly.
Three of us based out of this home to explore nearby Maple Canyon. The house is quite large, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well appointed to cook our meals. We would love to stay here again.

This property was extremely clean and well taken care of. It exceeded all of our needs.
Sufficient for our family over Thanksgiving. Beds were comfortable and home was cozy. Three beds in the bedrooms, along with a couch did the trick for us. Host was attentive and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if occasion permits. Thanks, Brigham!
Very comfortable stay with my elderly parents who have never stayed in anything other than a motel. Was only at house less than 12 hours so did didn’t use much of anything but home was clean and convenient location for us.
Short drive to Manti for the Rat Fink Reunion. Great location and great property. Check in was a little harsh as the first two door codes didn’t work. After a 45 minute delay Brigham sent us a code that did work and all was well. We’ll stay there again.

Could be a great place to stay with some work and attentiveness
Granted, it is an old house, but the uneven transitions of the floors in several rooms was a significant hazard we had to constantly help my mother negotiate. There was an exceptionally offensive smell in the bathroom area. It smelled (sorry to be explicit) like used feminine hygiene products that had not been properly disposed of. The access code to the house was left at the default setting, not the code that was promised. When I called on that, later in the evening of our arrival, the host granted me access to the system, without a password, to change the code. No instructions for the task were on the accessed site. The net result was that the VERY loud house alarm was triggered. After talking to a less than helpful alarm service responder, the host changed the access code from his own computer! Why could that not have been done earlier?! On the 2nd day of our stay, the refrigerator stopped working. The host did bring over a smaller unit that was sufficient for our perishables and then a new refrigerator the next afternoon. The host also left us with a couple pounds of frozen hamburger for our troubles. The troublesome beginning of our stay unfortunately carried on in our feelings for the remainder of our stay. I was sufficiently unhappy that I did not want to rate the visit, thinking that no review might be less impactful to the host than what I felt like at the time. As I stated in the title, some time and attention could have avoided an unpleasant experience for all.
Pros: host was nice and quick to respond. House was clean. Check in code didn’t work but host was quick to respond and was easily let in.
Cons: mis-advertised! There are only 3 beds total. It said there was a sofa bed/futon, it was a couch! Also shows a twin/single bed in piano room-there wasn’t one! Mold in the shower. The fridge didn’t work upon arrival, it did get fixed during our stay. Host was kind enough to offer accommodations for the inconvenience of the fridge but his accommodations was not of a discount but only asking for more money with other accomidations. I asked if we could just have a discount off our last nights stay and was told no. Also pd a good cleaning fee as part of the stay but the dishwasher wasn’t unloaded from the previous renters and then still have to take the trash out, start a load of laundry etc. before checking out.
*it was a descent stay as far as the cleanliness and home but I give it 3 stars due to the mis advertisement and where there was an inconvenience not on our part and we were only asked to pay more money.
We were looking for a nice, quiet place to take our family for the weekend, and we found the perfect place at the Moroni house. The house is an older, historic home, but it is completely updated on the inside. We loved the old charm combined with all the modern conveniences. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was great and fully stocked, and there were 5 TVs to enjoy, along with a big selection of channels and DVDs.
We spent time walking around the city of Moroni, we went to a drive-in movie at the Basin Drive-In, and we enjoyed ice cream at Shalan’s. We drove around Manti and Ephraim and did our grocery shopping in Mt. Pleasant. We had everything we needed or wanted within a short walk or drive.
Brigham was a pleasure to work with - whenever we had questions or comments he responded quickly. He has put together a great guide-book for the house, and he works hard to ensure guests have a great stay.
We definitely plan to return to the Moroni house when we need another quiet weekend away. It was exactly what our family needed.
The house is very nice, clean and comfortable. The kids loved the tub. The air conditioning was wonderful. The beds were great. We had everything we needed. We would highly recommend it. Thanks Brigham.
Just like staying at my grandma's house!(except no dish of nasty hard candies on the counter)
As advertised, and great price for a nicely furnished and well-located home. Check-in and check-out were super easy, the host was easy to reach with any questions. Would stay here again.
We had a wonderful visit to the Moroni house and would recommend it to all travelers! Our daughter loved the history and having the upstairs bedroom all to herself that reminded her of the old Anne of Green Gables story. My son and my husband loved the older piano, which was amazingly in tune! We had a small snag at first getting in, but Brigham the owner took care of it quickly. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Shalan’s Diner in Moroni nearby! Thank you.
We had such a good time!! I have never stayed in Moroni before but we enjoyed our stay and loved the quiet town feel. If you’re looking to get away this is a great location!

This is a great place to stay in Sanpete County. Clean, well kept, and very spacious. The central location of the house made it easy to visit Fairview Canyon, Maple Canyon, Spring City, and Manti. There is great communication with the property owner, and the house is a great historic part of the community. I personally loved the antique details that have been kept in the house...the claw tub, the old doors and hardware, and the light fixtures. We will happily stay there again in the future.
Moroni is a bit off the beaten path for most, but if you have any reason to be within a 30 mile radius this house is a great option.
House is bigger than I was expecting. Two big suu oh avious bedrooms. The beds and pillows are better than any nice hotel I’ve stayed at. Check in was seemless. And this is just a special property. Lots of history. And the hosts have really gone the extra mile to make it a great option! I will be back.
