Renovated Old Village Charmer, 1 mile to Shem Creek

Recently reopened property/calendar! Rates may soon increase, so book now! Renovated and tastefully decorated home in the Old Village of Mt. Pleasant. Three miles to Sullivan's Island, one mile to Shem Creek and five miles to Downtown Charleston! Updated kitchen, equipt for cooking and eating, W/D combo unit, the living area has a smart TV and a dining area for four, hardwoods throughout. The first bedroom comes with a queen bed, the second has twin beds and smart TV. Fenced-in backyard with picnic area and grill, front porch dining table as well. If interested in the grill, please text me once booked for safety instructions. Technically a duplex but lives like a house with its own yard, partking, etc. A high chair attachment is available upon request. Less than a mile to three parks, close to nearly everything on the South side of Mt. Pleasant. One low-shed dog (or two under 20lbs low-shed dogs) welcome with pet fee. Great Location!

First time in Charleston and would definitely stay again at this location. The area was safe and very nice. The host was also very communicative.

Cute little place

Place was cute with a recently remodeled kitchen and nice furnishings. So thankful I was able to bring my dog. The neighborhood was fantastic and great for walking her daily. Loved the location.

A gem in Mount Pleasant

This is such a cute little place, so comfortable, well equipped, and close to everything in Mount Pleasant. Getting ready for a wedding, we really appreciated simple things like a full length mirror and iron with ironing board! There were many little extras to make this place feel like a home in the neighborhood is so quiet and friendly!

Great location

Everything is clean, looks like the pictures, and is close to all the sights. The owners graciously provided snacks even for dogs and bottled water. I would definitely stay there again.

Family Vacation

We had a great time! The house was so comfortable for our family - two adults and two teen girls. Great home base for beach days at Isle of Palms & Sullivan’s Island and exploring and shopping in downtown Charleston. We’d love to return!

Great neighborhood

We really enjoyed the duplex and loved the neighborhood. My wife and I walked to the Pitt St Bridge, the village and all points in between. Great spot.

Quiet friendly neighborhood

This 2 bedroom duplex was just right for me and my daughter & granddaughter while my daughter worked in Charleston! Awesome friendly neighborhood with parks & restaurants close by!!! Owners went over the top to please and make us welcome!

Fabulous location, nice clean apt

The location was in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with a quick uber drive to downtown. Lots of excellent restaurants a short drive away. The duplex was clean with 2 bedrooms, cozy living room, kitchen (which we used for morning coffee) and a porch. Parking for 2 cars was a bonus.

Wonderful location

The old village is a wonderful area. Quiet streets, dog friendly, beautiful neighborhoods. An easy 10 minute walk brings you to the village center where you’ll find a wonderful cafe, a few boutiques and an excellent restaurant. The house was small but comfortable and the yard was a big hit with our pups. Sallie is an amazing host and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

Charming Home in the Village of Mt Pleasant

We found the home tastefully decorated, amply furnished and equipped with every convenience. The kitchen supplies went beyond the basic coffee, etc, and even included some snacks. It was evident that the owner genuinely cared about their guests.

Adorable place!

Great little spot if you’re visiting Charleston! We come to visit family so we don’t often spend much time other than bathing and sleeping in our rentals - this place is otherwise very well located- easy to get to and easy to get anywhere from here. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Only tip I have I pack bug spray! This area has absolutely viscous skeeters!

Nice neighborhood, house was cozy, cute and very inviting. The hostesses offered all the amenities. She was quick with response, gave suggestions on local good places. Definitely 10/10. We loved it and would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Minutes away from fantastic restaurants, walks to Shem Creek and Pitt street bridge, and of course historic Charleston. The owners even provided a welcome basket with snacks and information about the area. The neighborhood is quiet and the fenced yard was a plus. It was nice to be able to bring our dog along on this trip. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing location!

The location of this spot is everything! It’s a great, quiet, safe neighborhood — close to Shem Creek, Sullivan’s, downtown. It’s the perfect size for 2-4 people. The front porch is great to enjoy a little happy hour or morning coffee - but you also have a fenced in backyard. An extra treat: they leave you snacks! Communication with the host was seamless too. Definitely recommend!

A great stay in Mount Pleasant!!

We had a wonderful time staying at this home in Mount Pleasant! The property was clean and well organized and we had everything that we needed! It is situated in a very quiet and friendly family neighborhood with some neat coffees shops within walking distance. There was also easy access to many shopping and dining options. We had an opportunity to speak with and then meet the owners Jamie and Sallie and they were just delightful people! They were very responsive to any questions that we had about the property and area! We will likely be back again! Thank you Jamie and Sallie!

Memorial day

Thank goodness for a great host and house because our entire trip was all rain!! The area is great, felt super safe. I only marked down for cleanliness because there was a full trash can in the kitchen when we got there. Other than that everything was great! Host was even accommodating with special requests regarding times since we missed out on some fun due to the endless rain.

Old Village

Location, location, location. Old Village is marvelous, best spot in the Charleston area. For 10 years, we lived a few blocks from this VRBO rental. Nightly rentals are very hard to find in old village. We saw only one draw back. We are older and like a comfy chair. These look fantastic but are designed for younger backs. Still, this place is a gem.

Clean, adorable and fully stocked!

My husband, myself and our elderly dog (a boxer) had a great stay! The owner was great to work with. She stayed in touch, made recommendations for the area and was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The home was impeccable. Everything was clean, and shining. The decor was super cute and looked recently updated. We really appreciated how well provisioned the property was. Super fluffy towels, a Keurig, an ice maker, all the dishes, paper supplies and cleaning products. They even provided a basket with local information and some yummy snacks. The TV had tons of channels. We also really liked the location. It was in a quiet neighborhood. And very close to downtown Charleston. We also enjoed Mt. Pleasant with its restaurants and proximity to Patriots Point, Shem Creek, and the water Taxi. Highly recommend thie property!!

Cozy renovated bungalow

My family and I travelled here from New Zealand and we really enjoyed the house. We were reminiscing about our stay and the little things that made it feel welcoming and cozy like the coffee machine with complementary coffee/tea, snacks and treats. We found the bed comfortable, and the location perfect in a small quiet neighbourhood. We enjoyed going for walks and even walking to the stores nearby. Air conditioning was perfect as it got pretty hot outside. Mornings drinking coffee and having breakfast on the front porch table was also nice. Clean and bright airy feeling was also nice. The new renovations were great.
