On a girls' motorcycle trip to Southern Oregon, we stopped in Mount Shasta and had the best stay at Summit View Inn! Plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance (5-10 mins), and the staff was super friendly. You'll receive a code for self-check in on the day of your arrival. The rooms are cozy, cute, and have lots of places to hang all your gear-- including bicycles, if that's your speed.

Cool place for outdoor adventures with room equipped with ski and bike racks and hooks to hang stuff to dry, etc. Clear floors and bed. Bare bone. Easy check-in done through prior electronic registration and door code. Right in Shasta.

I loved the easy check in process. The grounds were well kept, it felt to be an inviting place for me, and my pooch. It had a great chill environment vibe. Room was decorated relevant to the area. A weak, cheap, attempt at turning an older facility into a hipster hotel. The outside communal areas are a nice touch, but the room, including the poor beds, add-on AC in the window so you can’t close the curtain and use the AC, black mold under the bathroom sink in unit #12, portable electric heater, bad ikea type lighting, one of which was broken, make this place unacceptable. Stay away! I’d love to publish the pic from under the sink. I’m disgusted.

So my room was not ready at 4pm when i arrived. But CJ was awesome, he gave us another room immediately. Also the community kitchen rocks! It has everything and is clean. The beds are very comfortable. Would stay again.

This property was very clean and the beds were pretty comfortable and the staff was great. The stairs, windows and some other areas of the property could be updated, some screens were missing or busted so we couldn't let fresh air in due to not wanting bugs in the room. There is a huge pothole in the driveway as you come into the property that we tried to avoid each time we came in.

We stayed here for a night only and I woke up with some very itchy bug bites on my back. The room appeared clean but if you looked closely, there were some issues here and there. For example, the hand soap in the bathroom had someone’s hair stuck to it. There was a used towel in the cabinet drawer. The AC was loud! We had to turn it off and sleep in the heat for the whole night. The only good part was the easy check in and check out.

The room was nice. The check in process was difficult. The code we were given wasn’t working so we had to message the phone number since there is no one to check you in. Also the power went out for hours. We heard it was due to a fire nearby but it was still inconvenient .
