Very spacious and luxurious five bedroom , four bath Ranch house in the country on 18 1/2 acres- Great for a couple of families, with many gathering areas, fantastic game room - porches and decks and gazebo! 7 flat screen TVs throughout the house, including in each bedroom. Air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout. Three X-Box 360's, HUGE Rec room in the basement. Good cell phone reception via Wi Fi. Whether you're coming to this area for the Baseball Hall of Fame, All Star Village, Dreams Park, Glimmerglass Opera, Soccer Hall of Fame, Fenimore Art Museum, or the Farmer's Museum, Ideally located just minutes between Oneonta and Cooperstown in the heart of Leatherstocking Country. Elegant living room with beautiful wood floor. Wonderful windows for viewing the countryside. Plenty of comfortable seating, Multiple dining areas - by the front sunroom, the bay window in the living room, a countertop eating area in the kitchen - and even a formal dining area between the kitchen and living room. The gourmet kitchen has beautiful countertops, stainless steel appliances, and is fully equipped with all necessary cooking utensils and new appliances, and refrigerator and dishwasher. Spectacular Master Bedroom with King bed and windows all around, large TV and X-Box. Lower level has a wonderful and enormous family room with ping-pong table, foosball, electric darts and air hockey, more comfortable seating and large TV and X-box, and another full bathroom with laundry facilities. Multiple deck areas with two large Weber gas grills. Multiple areas outside for enjoying the scenery and wildlife.
Acres of lawn for games and for exploring and star-gazing. A short 15 mile ride to either Cooperstown or Oneonta NY. Emergency stand-by generator.

Perfect getaway

Abel’s Acres was perfect for our 2 families - 4 adults and 5 boys. Plenty of room and a ton of activities for the kids. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay as we visited Cooperstown. Will definitely be looking to stay there for future trips.

Beautiful house and amenities. Although somewhat remote, great location for visit to Cooperstown Baseball HOF and Oneota Baseball village.Plenty of property and decking for outside activities.Plenty of space for multiple families.

This was our 2nd trip here and it did not disappoint. Perfect place for our family to spread out. Lots for kids to do. They loved the games as well as the bats and balls outside.

Great for a week of baseball

The house was a great fit for our 3 families who came to watch our sons at Cooperstown. Plenty big enough and rooms for everyone. Loved the kids room with all the twin beds.

Great relaxing 3 day getaway

Cool house. So much room!! All amenities you could want.Very comfortable accommodations. Trip into Cooperstown for was easy. Very rural area so it getting back to house with daylight is a must. Winding roads and no street lighting. But in late spring until clocks turn back it’s not a problem as it stays lighter longer.

20 minutes from dreamspark

We stayed here while my son played at cooperstown dreamspark. It’s about 20 minutes from the fields. We had a wonderful time. Lots of woods to explore when you have time. Many towns nearby for food and fun!

What a beautiful place. Well taken care of, plenty of room and the game room is fantastic. We were in town for the last derby primaries by Spinning Wheels in Morris, NY!! Had a great time!! Amazing House and even better property!

This house was perfect for our multi-family Cooperstown visit! We had plenty of space + amenities! The kids played in the basement game room and outside the entire time. It was nice for the adults to take over the large deck while the kids ran around. Highly recommend! It is about 25 minutes from Dreams Park but no issues from us!

Nice large house with lots of amenities. Kids took advantage of all the games. Owner was very attentive in addressing one small matter we had. Nicely situated half-way between Cooperstown and Oneonta. Mattresses could use an upgrade.

Wonderful week

This property was fantastic. Ray was easy to work with, answered questions quickly, able to accommodate adding an extra night, allowed us to host a team dinner. Everything was so clean, the kitchen was well equipped. We found an issue with the air conditioner and he got someone scheduled right away to fix it, was considerate of when that person would come. Going back and forth to all star village was an easy 17 minute drive. This house did not disappoint!

Outstanding place for a group

We had a fantastic time at this place. Such a great and spacious place for groups of people. The basement has air hockey, foosball, ping-pong, Xbox. This is perfect for relaxing and playing, especially if you have kids. There are so many spaces for people to sit and eat throughout the house. it is very clean organized, and available. We stayed here with my family for my son’s baseball tournament in Cooperstown. It’s about a 25 minute drive to dream park. It’s a bit of a drive but the roads are smooth and it’s an easy drive. We also got a chance to see a lot of wildlife in the area . We would definitely stay here again. A couple things to note is that you should bring your own toiletries. If you are planning on doing a lot of cooking at the house, I would recommend bringing either Ziploc bags or plastic wrap to store things in the refrigerator. Otherwise the house is fully stocked with plates, silverware, cooking utensils, and cooking devices.

Copperstown and Golf Trip

Great Place! Well maintained and many fun games to keep adult babies (60-65 yrs) entertained. Host really thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable. Will go back.
