"Staff was very nice . Accommodating. However the rooms were musty , the floors were damp and had stains throughout . The beds had stains. The walls were paper thin . I use the plural because , our first room , upon leaving to go out , we noticed would not lock behind us . You could just push it open if you wanted . The nice lady switched our rooms and apologized .That being said the pillows were absolutely trash . They did not even feel like pillows . They were Small and unexplainable...

"The property was very welcoming to myself, my wife, and our dog! Methodical Coffee onsite in the lobby was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend the Outpost Inn to anyone looking for a great place in Highlands!"

"The room was great, with a separate siting room and a big sofa to sit . the hotel is right in the middle of town and suoer dog friendly. Staff were helpful and friendly. The only drawback is the breakfast. No fruit or healthier options, even the oatmeal had maple syrup flavoring. The bagels ended up being our choice. Good coffee and free water. Parking is free. Overall we would rate it highly and return."
