"This motel has slightly dated and austere decor, but it is clean, functional and meets all the needs for someone needing a room for the night on short notice, and the staff was helpful and attentive. I certainly wasn't expecting much more for the affordable price, and it's situated in a spot that is nice and quiet for sleeping well."
Downtown Sleepy Eye Apartment, 1 bedroom and sleeper. Vintage in every way!
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful vintage apartment, fully stocked and very clean and quiet. The Sleepy Eye Coffee shop next door is a fabulous bonus! They have excellent coffee and food items. Only caution is that the stairs leading up to the apartment are long and steep - could be very difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Same thing for the tub/shower, as it is difficult to get in and out of if that is something you struggle with. Other than that, this is a perfect place to stay if you are in the Sleepy Eye/Springfield/New Ulm area! Owner was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!"
"The only reason I am marking you down is your well either nods to be hydrojetted or deepened because the pump is picking up sediment and it is coming out of all water fixtures in the house. The check-out instructions in the book in the house need to be updated to be consistent with the emailed checkout instructions."
"A great place to stay for exploring the Mountain Lake Heritage Center and the Jeffers Petroglyphs. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice beds. Beautiful landscapes"
"I needed affordable, clean and comfortable. I got that. I stayed 4 nights. This is a small operation and will not thrill those looking for amenities but I’d choose Earth Inn again if I ever get back that way."
