"We had a fantastic stay at Adirondack Retreat Inn & Suites and were really impressed with how much you get for the price. We rented one of their Deluxe Three Bedroom Houses, and at only $275 per night, it was an incredible value for a large family or group. The location is hard to beat. We were just a short walk from all the restaurants, shops and attractions along Canada Street, so once we arrived, we really didn’t need the car to enjoy downtown Lake George. Our house had three bedrooms, two bathrooms and plenty of room to spread out, with two queen beds and three double beds. The full kitchen was actually a FULL kitchen — pots, pans, dishes, silverware and everything you would need to cook a meal rather than just a microwave and mini fridge pretending to be a kitchen. Upstairs was probably our favorite part of the house. The bathroom had a beautiful Jacuzzi tub, and one of the bedrooms had its own private balcony with chairs and a small table. It was the perfect spot to sit outside and take in the incredible views of the mountains surrounding Lake George. The amenities around the property were another pleasant surprise. The enclosed heated pool is open year-round, stays open until 10 p.m. and was a perfect 86 degrees during our stay. There’s also a beautiful fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, and they even provide bundles of firewood for guests at no charge — such a nice touch."

"When we arrived it looked deserted. Went to check in and luckily the girl that managed it 4 years popped out. She explained what transpired since we were there last and how it’s undergoing a new transformation and maybe a name change. She’s very welcoming and remembered us instantly. So it’s a new work in progress. It may not be the 100% now but it will be. They’re starting over from scratch. I love this little hideaway and will probably go back."

"Self checkin was very easy. Our door would not shut a couple of times but we figure it out .Nice decor Quaint town We had an issue with our AC but they fixed it right away. Bedding was very nice but bed felt like our heads were tipped down The floor was a little sandy. Very quiet area. Every communication was done by text. . We communicated with Daphne and she was wonderful!"

"Leslie and Emily are two amazing women. When we first showed up, we weren’t sure but they showed us around property and as we got to know them and the property as they are very hands on and they are great people. The water tube bed in the Richard Glamp was interesting to sleep on; I did great my husband not so much. Only writing this so you know. The fact that they made pizza for a nominal fee everyday was a great concept as there isn’t much around there to eat. They also do same thing for breakfast. This is definitely a place to unplug; we really enjoyed our stay."
