"This hotel has the most amazing food and staff! Indian vegetarian plus no onion and garlic food also available , fully cater for the Indians , and not forgetting a vast range on European, continental Chinese, Italian , they have it all!! Rooms are a little dated , but how Much time do you spend in them anyway ? If you don’t like noise , ask for a room away from where the entertainment is every night , it can get loud! Also be wary of any weddings that might be happening as this can take over the resort and it’s not a problem but you might not get any peace and quiet. Beach is beautiful! There’s beach boys selling stuff , remember to haggle. There is also some girls on the beach from a hut a bit further along the beach on the left who do the most amazing massages and cheap! You can hear the waves !That’s if you don’t want to use the resort facilities. All in all a great resort with lots of options! Even though we had a few niggles it didn’t spoil the beach time we so desperate craved ! "

"This place was so so beautiful! All staff but 1 was wonderful! Very nice and clean! Walkable to the beach, shopping, dining and my mums house! Thought it started free breakfast we did not get! Otherwise I would highly highly recommend and I would for sure stay again the 2 bedroom, 2 bath with private pool was amazing! The staff that did help us was absolutely the best! "

"My stay at the Pinewood was amazing. Although the public areas are a little bit dated the quality of the rooms and the exceptional service by all the staff was above my expectations. From the gardeners to the chefs everyone goes out of their way to make your stay very memorable. I am sure if you choose the Pinewood you won’t be disappointed. I will return for sure! Great job everyone, especially the owner for creating such a special place with special people. "
