Hico

"Our family enjoyed the quiet cabin. Only 25 min from our rafting tour. The fireplace gave off a lot of heat and the hot tub was also nice for warming up and relaxing after rafting. Memory foam beds were firm but comfy. The attention to detail with all the bears in the decor was a nice touch, along with the handmade soaps. I would recommend Apple Maps instead of google, which took us to the neighboring cabin."

Top Mt Lookout Hotel Reviews

Adventures on the Gorge

8/10 Good

"The cabin had what we needed. It was okay as far as the cleanliness, but could use a deep clean, especially the ceiling fan in the bedroom, and the lamps. The hot tub was a great way to end our day, and it was very private."

La Quinta Inn & Suites Summersville / New River National Park

8/10 Good

"Would have received a 5 star review except they gave us a room that the key did not work replaced it with a new set of keys that would not open the door we were tired after travel and had to wait to get into our room twice!"

Quality Inn New River

8/10 Good

"The rooms open to the outside. The breakfast with a souvenir gift store was comfy. Hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, biscuits and cream chip beef. Erika at the front desk was friendly and helpful when we noticed our very clean toilet seat was loose. Maintenance fixed promptly. Friendly waiter at Elliot’s bar and grill. Warm Brownie Sundae was excellent. Worse part was the light that came around the curtains that made it hard to fall asleep."

Hampton Inn Summersville

8/10 Good

"This was the second Hampton Inn I stayed in during my recent trip. Both places, including this one and the one in Hendersonville NC had dogs that were barking near my room. For this hotel I told the staff and they paid a visit or called since the barking stopped. I don't agree with the pet friendly policy, I'm allergic to dogs and cats and the last thing I want to hear is barking while on vacation. Otherwise it was a very nice stay but not sure I will stay at any more Hamptons."

Twin Oaks Lodge: 4 Kings, Hot Tub, Sauna & EPIC Game Room

10/10 Excellent

"The cabin provided the perfect setting for our family of 14 get away. We had children who had the time of their lives playing on the swing set in the yard and the game room kept them going for hours! The location was beautiful for the adults to enjoy with the hot tub, sauna and just walking around the neighborhood. The cabin was clean and had everything that we needed and Heath was very responsive with communication. We plan on making this cabin our yearly get together!"

Adventure Cabin w/ Private Pond Near New River Gorge, Gauley & Summersville Lake

10/10 Excellent

"Property was exceptionally clean and in perfect condition. Everything was as shown in the listing. We were only 20 to 40 minutes from everything we wanted to do all week but had perfect peace and quiet in a secluded location. The kitchen had every appliance we could think of which was perfect for preparing many of our meals during our stay. Having firewood on site for the fire pit was a delightful bonus keeping us from needing to find wood ourselves. Jason was prompt with communication before and during our stay. We had a great trip."
